Cabachon (Casall x Concerto II x Joost). Now 16 years old, this pretty bay evolved into a Grand Prix winner of the 3* Grand Prix on the Baltica Spring Tour in 2015, and second in the Grand Prix of Roosendaal in 2016 with numerous rankings. Although his offspring are still young, he already has many progeny out competing on the international circuit, and several of his sons have been approved in Sweden and Denmark.

Exceptional bloodlines, exceptional conformation and exceptional performance: with well-defined limbs and a perfect shape, Cabachon shows great potential in the ring, combined with plenty of scope and an excellent technique and bascule. In both breeding and sports careers he embodies vivid internationality: in 2009 he was placed in the finals of the World Championships for young show jumpers in Lanaken/BEL with Norwegian Stein Endresen. Further international success was achieved with Oleg Krasyuk, Ulrich Kirchhoff and Katharina Offel. In 2013, Cabachon was third in the Grand Prix of Rastede and in 2014, he continued his career successfully with the young Mathis Schwentker.

From a breeder’s perspective, Cabachon´s debut in Scandinavia set new standards! In 2010, he was the most used show jumping stallion in Sweden. His oldest progeny are sporty in type and clearly equipped with the show jumping qualities of their sire and they have given a first class sporting impression in Northern Europe. The sire Casall quickly advanced to become a top class producer. He has sired more than 50 licensed sons, amongst them the Holstein licensing champion 2013, Casaltino. At the Olympic Games in 2012, Casall and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE) were successful and in 2013 they won the Team Bronze Medal and came fourth in the individuals at the European Championship in Herning/Denmark. In 2014, they were fourth in the individuals at the World Equestrian Games in Caen and according to the FEI ranking were chosen as best pair in the world in 2014. On the dam side are Concerto II and Joost, two most valuable stallions that have unfortunately only been used in a very limited span for Holstein breeding, a fact that adds an almost unique touch to the pedigree and makes it particularly desirable. From the significant dam lineage 628 b came 40 licensed sons, among them valuable sires such as Cheenook, Feldherr, Lavaletto, Linos, Rekord GL, Rhenus and Romantiker, as well as the internationally successful show jumpers B Once Z/Katharina Offel, C. Chap/Soon-Won Hwang (COR), Carino/Ulrich Kirchhoff, Charmonie/Hans-Dieter Dreher and Classic H/Toni Hassmann.
