A proven noble grey Holstein stallion of outstanding quality. Calido I belongs to the best Holsteiner stallions of the present with a life time earning of his progeny of more than 2,43 million Euro. There are 51 licensed sons, two of them were awarded at the OS-International association in 2011 and Calitendro was awarded as premium stallion. Numerous top riders perform in the big tour with Calido offspring – one of the most successful ones is the three-time German Champion Coupe de Coeur, who was finally in the lead of the 2009′ Riders Tour with Ludger Beerbaum and was proclaimed as most successful stallion in breeding at the 2011′ European Championship with Henrik von Eckermann. Noblesse M, under the saddle of Pius Schwizer, belonged to the bronze medal winning team at the 2008′ Olympic Games, Eurocommerce Acapulco was Vice Champion of the Netherlands under Gerco Schröder, Surprise ridden by Mynou Diedrichsmeyer is internationally successful like many other Calido progeny.

On the whole, there are more than thousand Calido progeny registered as competition horses. His licensed sons have already given prove of their quality in sport and breeding many times.

Calido himself achieved more than 20 wins in test for young show jumpers and won the jumping index of his stallion performance test. In the dressage part he placed third- and beside their type, jumping scope and technique, Calido’s offspring are well-known for their rideability.
