German Championship finalist

In his first show jumping season, Chacoolou PS lived up to his top sport-proven genetics: a series of victories in competitions for young show jumping horses – at the Dobrock Championships amongst others – with scores up to 9.3 and second and third places in the qualifications against the clock at the German Championships. A small careless mistake in the final in Warendorf shattered the dreams of victory. This youngster, who has a very sporty conformation and already showed a sample of his talent with an overall score of 8.61 at his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf, will now continue with his trainer Patrick Stühlmeyer in the direction of international show jumping courses.

His sire Chacoon Blue has achieved, with his rider Philip Rüping, several top placings in the World Ranking List show jumping competitions of Frankfurt/GER, Kronenberg/NED, Lanaken/BEL and Oldenburg/GER against strong competition, having previously been placed in the Youngster Tours of Munich/GER, Neumünster/GER, Paderborn/GER and Opglabbeek/NED. Chacoon Blue already demonstrated his unlimited abilities in 2014 at his stallion performance test in Schlieckau (final score of 9.4 with a focus on jumping). In 2015, he was placed in the German Championship final (6y.o.) after winning the Dobrock Championships. In 2016, after his first successes in the international Youngster Tour, he won silver at the Warendorf Youngster Championships (7y.o.). Over 20 of his sons have been licensed, including Chaloubino PS, our Vice German Champion and Dobrock Champion, and Chacoon’s Fly PS, Boegegaardens Chacoon, Cancun and Cero Blue TN, who are already successful in 1.45m show jumping competitions.

His dam Balancelle also produced Carte Blanche (by Cartogran), who was victorious internationally in 1.45m show jumping competitions with Vittoria Righi/ITA. Balancelle is the half sister of the licensed stallion Balero, who was successful in 1.45m international show jumping competitions. Her half sister Messengera SZ (by Messenger) is placed in international classes.

Balou du Rouet, himself successful in advanced level show jumping competitions, sired Baloutinue/Laura Kraut/USA, Olympic team silver medallist, Bianca/Steve Guerdat/SUI, bronze medallist at the World and European Championships and eighth in the World Cup, Saura de Fondcombe/Nadja Peter Steiner/SUI, team third at the European Championships, as well as Corouet/Sarah Bullimore/GBR, individual bronze medallist at the European Eventing Championships. He is not only by far the most successful son of his famous sire, the Olympic champion and three-time World Cup winner Baloubet du Rouet, but also counts once again amongst the world’s best show jumping and eventing sires according to the WBFSH ranking.

The outstanding sires Lancer III and Sandro also appear in his pedigree.

His great-grand-dam Golden Touch produced the 1.60m show jumping horse Lasanta (by Landfriese I).

His fourth dam Golda produced Gepardi (by Gepard), licensed stallion and victorious at high level, as well as the 1.45m show jumping winners New Age (by Narew xx) and Domenico (by Domino), all bred by Paul Schockemöhle.

Golda is the daughter of Welfenglück (breeding name: Wartburg), who was highly successful in international competitions and the dam of the licensed stallion Genius (by Gepard) and Waran (by Wendekreis), who was successful in 1.45m show jumping competitions.

From the Hanoverian dam line also descend, amongst others, the stallions Lasangos (by Latus I), Crazy In Love (by Captain Paul I), Comander (by Chacco-Blue), Bøgegårdens Chacco Lido (by Chacco-Blue), Spitfire (by Stolzenberg) and Spartacus TN (by Stakkato)/Marco Kutscher/GER, as well as countless show jumping horses, such as A-Girl (by A-Dur)/Andreas Schou/DEN and Sophia Siegel/USA, placed tenth by team at the European Championships, the World Cup show jumping horses Huracan RC (by Cortez)/Damian Cojocariu/ROU and Cros Blue (by Chacco-Blue)/Krzysztof Ludwiczak/POL or the CCI4* eventing horses Business Class and Cooley Business Time (both by Harlequin du Carel).
