Through his sire Baloubet du Rouet and his dam’s sire I love you, Chaman goes back to the significant line founding stallion Almé Z twice. This line is also the origin of the licensed stallion Scandic who took third place in the EC with Patrik Kittel/SWE, the jumper stallion Luidam/Billy Twomey/IRL and the internationally successful show jumpers, Uline and Van Itram.

Chaman and Ludger Beerbaum – a world class horse and a world class rider who found each other. The dark bay, perfectly bred KWPN stallion was successful in international competitions with Luciana Diniz/POR and Sören von Rönne but his big breakthrough came in 2010 when the Olympic multi-champion took over in the saddle: First places in the Grand Prix of Dortmund, Valkenswaard/NED, Hannover and Münster as well as the overall winner of the Riders Tour, second place in the Grand Prix of Donaueschingen, third place in the Grand Prix of Estoril/POR, San Partignano/ITA, Frankfurt and Paderborn. That puts Chaman among the Top Ten of the world’s most successful jumper stallions. In 2012 Chaman was nominated for the KWPN Horse of the Year Award in the Netherlands.

Chaman has presented several show winners and desired auction candidates in his first foal year. So one son won the Holstein Foal Championships in 2016 in Pfullendorf. The older offspring show outstanding show-jumping competitions, as Jerico W, who has won the Swedish Free-Jumping Championships.
