In 2018 Charmeur and Madeleine Witte-Vrees have competed successfully at Grand Prix. In Etten-Leur they won the Developing Grand Prix competition with 74%, earning a first A-frame score.
Chameur is a well developed riding type stallion with upward direction well in the dressage model. The head is somewhat big and plain. The neck is plenty of length. The neck is a good length, shape and muscularity. The shoulder is a good length and location. The withers are well developed and good length. The back has a good length and plenty of muscle. The loin is taut. The croup is sloping and good length and muscle. The front leg is correct. The hind leg is correct.. The foundation is good.
One Charmeur’s most remarkable children is definitely the talented 8-year old Genua TC (x Jazz) with Janine Nieuwhuizen. Together they compete successfully in Small Tour with 75%.
In 2017 Charmeur, ridden by Madeleine Witte-vrees, was very successful in the Small Tour dressage with many victories. This strong combination achieved several scores of 74-75%. Charmeur impresses with his powerful trot and canter.
These properties of Charmeur, we also see in his heritance. His oldest offspring are now 6 years. In the VSN finals 2015,2016 and Pavo Cup final in 2015 and 2016 many offspring made a good impression. The VSN Trophy in 2015 went to the excellent moving Glamour (Charmeur x OO Seven x Ferro). No less than 5 Charmeur offspring took part in the VSN finals in December 2016.
In 2015, his powerful moving son High Five U.S. received the KWPN licensing. Very impressive at the Oldenburg Stallion Show was his son Charming Ferro, presented by Family van de Goor and us. At the recent KWPN Stallion Selection Charmeur was top leader in dressage stallions and 7 sons were nominated for the 2nd viewing. His descendants have an average good attitude and are very impressive under the saddle.
Charmeur himself was performance champion and won the Pavo Cup in 2011 and 2012 for 4- and 5 year old horses with Emmelie Scholtens. In the KWPN Stallion Competition 2012/2013 he was unbeatable. Charmeur repeatedly scored a 9.5 and 10 for his trot and canter.
