Contino-Quick PS showed his ability for the high level in 2020 by winning the bronze medal at the German Championships for five-year-old show jumping horses. Ridden by Eiken Sato/JPN, the show jumper with the ideal manner received 9.0 for the first round of the final and 8.8 for the second. He was clear in every round of the championships in Warendorf.

In 2021, Contino-Quick PS continued his success – and also proved his outstanding scope paired with the best technique in the international competitions of Kronenberg/NED and Riesenbeck/GER.

We are eagerly awaiting Contino-Quick PS’ first crop of foals.

His sire Contendro I was one of the world’s best show jumping and eventing sires according to the WBFSH ranking. He produced over 70 licensed stallions and over 350 offspring who are successful at high level. The prize money of his offspring registered in Germany alone amounts to 7.6 million Euros. The main contributors were Codex One/Christian Ahlmann, Conthendrix/Andre Thieme, Queen Mary/Jan Wernke and fischerChipmunk FRH/Michael Jung/GER, who was placed fourth by team and eighth individually at the Olympic Games in Tokyo/JPN in 2021, European Eventing Champion and European Championships individual silver medallist in 2019 in Luhmühlen/GER.

His dam Castina was placed in competitions for young show jumping horses. She produced six other international show jumping horses: Diarca PS (by Diarado)/Marlon Modolo Zanotelli/BRA, SD Chamaco (by Chacco-Blue; 1.45m show jumping), Constanze (by Contefino; 1.40m show jumping), Cardhu (by Diarado; 1.40m show jumping), Dear Nahla (by Diarado; 1.35m show jumping) and Diamond’s Star PS (by Elvis ter Putte; 1.35m show jumping).

His grand-sire Carinue was placed at high level. Two of his sons have been licensed. In sport, the German Championship bronze medallist Carinou/Ludger Beerbaum/GER and Clenur/Marco Kutscher/GER are highly successful.

His grand-dam Golden Star also produced several horses for international courses. Cha Cha Cha (by Chacco-Blue) participated in the 2019 World Cup Final in Gothenburg/SWE, won the Grand Prix of Valencia/ESP and the show jumping World Cup of Sharjah/UAE. Tailormade Chloé Star PS (by Conthargos) competed in Grand Prix with Karin Martinsen/SWE. Also internationally successful are Cormick (by Cormint)/Max-Hilmar Borchert, Tailormade La Golda Z (by Lawito), Capitale (by Carthago) and Cartoon’s Star (by Cartoon). Golden Star’s daughter Corstara (by Cornet’s Stern) produced the AES licensed stallion and internationally successful Cornet Blue PS (by Chacco-Blue).

His great-grand-sire is Quick Star. He contributed to his rider Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum’s breakthrough in international show jumping sport with victories in the Grand Prix of Palm Beach/USA, Maastricht/NED, Mannheim/GER and Munich/GER. The Selle Francais stallion by Galoubet-Nithard x lived on through his offspring, led by Stella/Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum/GER, Quick Study/Lauren Hough/USA, Orient Express/Patrice Delaveau/FRA and Vleut/ Maikel van der Vleuten/NED and Edwina Tops-Alexander/AUS.

His great-grand-dam Goldprobe produced three exceptional horses: Classico by ZYX (by Classiker), Prime Time (by Philister) and Chaccorit (by Chacco-Blue).

Hanoverian line of Weissenburg, from which descend numerous international show jumping horses and stallions, such as Cornet Blue (by Chacco-Blue), Couture (by Conthargos) and Lambado (by Lando).
