This elegant and highly refined black stallion became the youngest elite stallion ever in Danish Warmblood. Since 2004 De Noir has been one of the pre-dominant sires at the Danish Warmblood elite show with some of the best colts and fillies and young mares in the country. Rarely have we seen a stallion pass on his type and athleticism to so many different mares as De Noir has proved to do. De Noir is now in the sport competing.
The Hanoverian branded De Noir is by De Niro out of Maharani (by Matcho AA x Akut) and is 13-year olds. He was initially licensed with the Hanoverian society in 2002 and became the champion of the 2003 Danish warmblood stallion licensing. The same year he did his stallion performance test in Denmark and was the best performer in dressage at the 30-day testing (score 914.7). He also did the 70-day performance test and obtained a score of 812.75 points.
De Noir was the youngest sire ever to receive elite status by the Danish breed society. In 2005 he sired Donna Negra, the Hanoverian Foal Champion of the year.
De Noir has great succes in the United States under Mette Rosencrantz
