Don VHP Z is a big framed horse with a big sense of humour. He is super careful and scopey with correct, uphill paces. Competing BS, as a young horse he jumped numerous double clears in Newcomers and Foxhunter. He was a Finalist at Addington Young Horse Championship in 2009 and selected to represent GB at the World Championships for young horses at Lanaken in Belgium. In 2010 he started the season by winning the Walwyn Championship at Royal Windsor, he went on to qualify Newcomers & Foxhunter 2nd rounds. Then he won the 6 year old Championship final at HOYS.
After his fantastic third place at Leipzig under Harrie Smolders he has qualified for the 2016 World Cup final and is on the Dutch squad for Rio 2016. His half brother Carlos VHP is on flying form in 1.60m classes at Wellington with Maclaine Ward. We also have a younger half brother (Elvis ter Putte x Sara) that we are very excited about that may stand at stud to a few select mares in 2016.
on VHP is a horse with exceptional charisma, intelligence and presence. With his fantastic results he is a stallion in great demand with the breeders.
SIRE: Diamant de Semilly is the sire of this extrodinary stallion. Diamant de Semilly was an exceptional showjumper and is a proven sire! Born in 1991 out of Le Tot de Semilly x!. Diamant won team gold at the World Championship in 2002 at Jerez de la Frontera and individual 9th place in the final , 2002 team gold , 2003 team silver European Championship in Donaueschingen. He also won numerous Grand prix’s including GP Saint-Lo and GP Caen. Several descendants of Diamant de Semilly are still active at the highest level such as Emerald, Elvis ter Putte and Urano de Cartigny.
DAM: The dam is Sara van ‘t Parelshof (Voltaire x Ramiro) born in 1995. From this dam line there are several international jumping horses. including HH Carlos Z ridden by Mc Lain Ward. This combination won many big classes. Carlos was retired from the sport in 2017. Despite her age, the dam is still used for breeding at Stoeterij ‘t Merelnest in Belgium.
