First Promise was approved  in Oldenburg. His father Fidertanz carries through his father’s blood Fidermark I and Florestan I, one of the great dressage horses in Germany.
The prematurely deceased Fidermark sired eight Grand Prix dressage horses, including Favourit with Tine Vilhelmsson. Fidertanz is father of 32 sons who have been approved in Germany. From Fidertanz and Fidermark I there are no other active KWPN sons or grandsons.

The mother of First Promise is the Oldenburg Mirija (v.Grand Prix stallion Latimer). This Trakehner stallion has been approved by many International studbooks, including in France, Switzerland and Denmark. Both father and grandfather Fidertanz and Latimer have a 140 + score in the German dressage index. In the motherline we can find the state premium mare Markante, who was a 3-year-old European champion in Brussels. The mother, grandmother and great-grandmother were black.

First Promise  shows himself to be very reliable and willing to work. The stallion has a lot of natural balance and elasticity. Because of his free bloodlines and excellent character he is a good partner for many KWPN dressage mares.

First Promise meets the requirements of all the KWPN veterinarian examinations.
