Total Hope carries a very appropriate name: In 2016, he was champion of the Swedish licensing in Flyinge and in 2017, he became Swedish Champion of five-year-old dressage horses. With an exemplary rideability, he knows how to convince with three exquisite natural paces. His first crop brought very noble, long-legged foals with, as expected, first-class paces.

Total Hope embodies the crossing of the two best dressage horses worldwide: His sire Totilas was double European Champion in Windsor in 2009, World Champion in Lexington in 2010 and set many world records and was also victorious at the CHIO in Aachen. On the breeding front, from his first crops of foals, he has so far sired 20 licensed sons, of which several have been awarded premium. His dam Weihegold was Champion of the Oldenburg Elite Mare Show in 2008 and is currently, with Isabell Werth, the most successful dressage horse in the world. She won, amongst others, Team gold and individual silver at the Olympics in Rio 2016, Individual and Team gold at the 2017 European Championships in Göteborg (SWE) and the World-Cup in Omaha (USA). In 2013, she won the Nuremberg Burgpokal final in Frankfurt, and one year later, she won the Louisdor-Preis for potential Grand-Prix horses at the same place and has meanwhile set new records in the Grand-Prix-Tour.

Weihegold had already produced the licensed stallion Sir Weibach when crossed with with Sir Donnerhall I. She is by Don Schufro, who led the German dressage breeding valuation for years, was internationally victorious up to Grand-Prix level and won the bronze medal in Hong Kong with the Danish team in 2008. Great-grand-sire Sandro Hit, World Champion and German champion, had made a name for himself as a dressage foundation stallion very quickly. So far, he has sired over 185 licensed sons. Over 270 of his daughters were awarded state premium, such as the 2006 Oldenburg champion mare, regional and German national champion Silberaster.

With the legendary stallions Figaro and Vollkorn xx, the maternal origins go back to the Oldenburg mare family 213/Weissena (by Folkert-Goldengel etc.). From this line descend 38 licensed stallions, including Canaster I and II, D’Amour (Ldb. Neustadt/D., successful at Grand Prix), Dartagnan (Ldb. Dillenburg), Vivaldi, Falstaff, Inselfürst, Bordolino, Top of Class (Licensing champion Oldenburg 1986), Triumphator (Licensing champion Oldenburg 1985), Good Future (Premium stallion 1986, SWE) and Friesengeist (Premium stallion 1980, German Champion of show-jumping horses 1983, later on successful in Holland and USA as Heisman with Michael Matz).
