Significant dressage capitalist with an irresistible look
Popular first class stallion in a wonderful chocolate chestnut coat. Always subtle and with that “look at me” factor, Vilancio possesses maximum balance in all three paces, an attribute he shows under saddle.
In 2014, he made his breeding debut in Sweden and at the end of the year he finished an excellent 30-day test in Schlieckau. For his character, conformation and imperturbable walk, he received the maximum mark of 10.0. In a field of strong candidates, he was third with a dressage emphasized end mark of 9.23. In 2015, he won and was highly placed in dressage horse classes.
Vilancio -> Vitalis / Lancet / Rubinstein I
The sire Vitalis was reserve champion at the NRW licensing in Münster-Handorf in 2009. In 2012 and 2013, he was placed at the World Championships for young dressage horses in Verden. Several premium stallions already result from his two first crops.
His dam sire Lancet took part in the European and World Championships and in the Olympic Games.
In the Netherlands, Lancet sired dressage champion horses up to international level. An absolute highlight of 2006 was the win by his son Uzzo/Patrick van der Meer (NL) in the World Championships of the five-year-old dressage horses. In the third generation comes Rubinstein I, another dressage icon of the 1990’s, and Nimmerdor, the legendary show jumping producer, rounds off this pedigree. The Dutch dam line produced, as well as internationally successful dressage horses such as Andorra ISF/Catherina Malone (USA), the licensed stallions Garmisch and Unaniem (international success with Athina Onassis/GRE), among others.
