A sire from head to toe: with Viva Gold, everything is just right. He inspires with a highly modern, long-legged conformation, three outstanding basic gaits and a reliable, powerful dam line that can hardly be surpassed.

At his young age, Viva Gold has already proven his excellent riding and performance characteristics several times. He finished his 14-day test in 2019 as dressage and overall winner with a dressage final score of 9.09, with walk and canter being awarded a 10. It took him a while to win his first riding horse test and he also successfully completed his required sport test with top marks for walk, canter and rideability. In the meantime, he has achieved many high placings in medium level dressage horse tests, has qualified twice for the Bundeschampionat for 6-year-old dressage horses and was 2nd reserve champion in Rastede. For his sporting achievements, Viva Gold was accepted into the Oldenburg sports promotion program and is now called Viva Gold OLD.

In terms of heredity, Viva Gold hit like a bomb. His foals inspire with outstanding type and movement values. Right from his first crop, he presented several auction tops, including a filly that was sold for over €80,000, one of the most expensive fillies ever sold in Oldenburg. In 2023, the licensing season of his first crop started with a bang: Viva Gold has the most approved stallions of all sires in both Westphalia and Oldenburg. In Münster-Handorf, Westphalia, not only are all 5 of Viva Gold’s stallions licensed, he also has three premium stallions, including the undisputed, celebrated champion stallion and reserve champion stallion. Viva Gold also provided the Reserve Champion Stallion in Redefin. The Westphalian champion stallion bred by Bernd Goeke is sold at the auction for an unbelievable €1,200,000.

Viva Gold’s father Vivaldi is one of the most sought-after stallions in the Netherlands. The Krack C-Jazz son was reserve champion at his licensing and was successful up to advanced level with Hans-Peter Minderhoud. In Germany alone, more than 25 of his sons are licensed and two of his offspring, Cennin and Desperado, are successful in the Dutch championship squad.
