Like a monument, this stallion clearly outshone the competition. He is blessed with an almost perfect conformation, grandiose paces and is always in control of the situation. Vivino was the clear winner at the Hanoverian licensing, even though the best of the year is no longer highlighted. The bidding duel for this award-winning movement genius broke all previous stallion market records, with a final bid of 2.01 million euros.
His sire Vivaldi is out of the Dutch famous blood line, the Utopia line and counts three international Grand-Prix stallions one after another in his pedigree, Krack C/Anky van Grunsven/NED, Jazz/Tineke Bartels/NED and Cocktail/Anky van Grunsven. He was Reserve Champion of his stallion performance test in the Netherlands and won the Pavo Cup for five-year-old dressage horses in 2007. In 2008 and 2009, ridden by Hans Peter Minderhoud/NED, he won the KNHS/KWPN stallion competition, where he was awarded 10.0 for his trot. He was then internationally successful up to Prix St. Georges. In 2013, he won the VHO trophy at the KWPN licensing. After that, he was predominantly used for breeding. During his breeding career, Vivaldi has produced 35 licensed stallions, including the Burg Cup winner Vitalis/Isabel Freese, the Louisdor Prize winner, Veneziano/Daniel Bachmann Andersen/DEN, Cennin/Madeleine Witte-Vrees/NED, who was placed fifth at the World Cup and Desperado/Emmelie Scholtens/NED, who is successful at Grand-Prix level.
His dam St.Pr.St. Desiree was a prize winner at the Herwart von der Decken show in Verden in 2013.
His dam sire Dancier was Champion of the Hanoverian licensing in 2004. One year later, he won the overall and dressage index of his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 2005 and was awarded the Freiherr von Stenglin Prize and Burchard Müller Prize as best stallion of his age class in 2006. Dancier then came second at the Hanoverian Riding Horse Championships and third at the German Championships for 4-year-old stallions after winning the qualifier for the final. In 2007 and 2008, he qualified for Warendorf and was placed in the final of the six-year-old championships. Since then, he has been victorious up to Prix St. Georges in dressage. In 2014, Dancier was awarded the prestigious “Grande-Preis”. The crowd of his almost 40 licensed sons is led by the Burg Cup and Louisdor Prize finalist Harmony’s Don Noblesse/Susan Pape/GBR, who was sold for a high price at the P.S.I. Auction, and our Westphalian Champion Stallion, Danciero, who was the top price of the stallion market, auctioned for 700,000 euros. Among his other offspring is the dressage German and World Champion Lordswood Dancing Diamond. His numerous award-winning daughters include the Hanoverian Champion Mare St. Pr. St. Dakota.
His grand-dam St.Pr.St. Fabienne produced Dany White, who was successful up to Prix St. Georges level, and his successful full brother, Del Gado.
Feinbrand, who appears in third place of the pedigree, was Reserve Champion Stallion and Main Premium Champion, placed in advanced (S) level dressage classes and sired ten licensed sons as well as numerous sport horses, including the European Team Champion Florestan/Kathleen Keller.
The thoroughbred Tremezzo xx in the fourth generation perfectly completes Vivino’s exceptional pedigree.
